Principal, Media relations/strategy

Bill Crane

Bill Crane is nearing 30 years as a senior communications strategist. He began his career in broadcasting, and later served in senior communications staff positions under Georgia's Gold Dome as well as on Capitol Hill, working for two U.S. Senators and one Governor, in both major political parties.  Crane also has significant economic development experience, serving as Vice-President of Marketing and Communications for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Forward Atlanta during Atlanta's Olympic years.

During the prior decade, Crane was a Senior Vice President with the GCI Group, a global public relations firm, where he helmed client engagements for AFLAC, Cousins Properties, Deloitte Consulting, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Johnson & Johnson among others. 

Since the 2000 Presidential Election, Crane has become one of the southeast’s most visible political analysts and commentators, first with 11Alive News, Atlanta's NBC affiliate, and now Channel 2’s WSB-TV Action News.  Crane added radio commentary in 2006, since providing analysis for WSB-95.5 FM as well as 750AM, and other CMG properties.  In 2009, Crane began a weekly and now syndicated political column entitled "One Man's Opinion."  In addition to his hometown newspapers in DeKalb County, The Champion (DeKalb's legal organ) and DeKalb's Champion Free Press, "One Man's Opinion" appears in The Brunswick News, Our Town Gwinnett, The Darien News, AccessWDUN.com, WSBRadio.com as well as several dozen other print and online media outlets across Georgia.

Also in 2009, Crane opened his own shop, CSI Crane, LLC, providing a full range of marketing, public affairs, and communications services to individuals and corporations.  CSI Crane specializes in corporate reputation and executive visibility, strategic media relations and thought leadership, as well as crisis communications particularly well suited for the needs of highly regulated industries.

Crane is a graduate of the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia.  He remains an avid Bulldog fan, and the proud father of two daughters, and grandfather of twin boys.  He travels frequently for business and as a keynote speaker and is active as a board member on more than half a dozen non-profit organizations.  Crane lives in Scottdale, Georgia, the offices of CSI Crane are nearby in Decatur.

Account Manager

Sue Rodman

Sue Rodman has more than 20 years in communications management, freelance writing and public relations.  The editor and owner of Field Trips with Sue, has substantial experience in association management, media relations, events and program management.

Sue’s work is award-winning and spans from directing the Real Estate Practice for the GCI Group in Atlanta, Georgia to serving as Assistant Manager of the Georgia Press Association.

Sue is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.A. in Communications.  She met her husband, Paul Rodman while working as a Disney Cast member at Disney World. The Rodmans have three sons and call northwest Atlanta home.

Video Production Manager

Jack Dunham

Jack Dunham is an award-winning producer, director, videographer and editor, with more than three decades of experience in film, video and digital production and post-production.  A licensed and certified drone pilot and camera operator, Jack has flown drones and captured incredible images of some of the most beautiful sights and scenes of the south.

With significant experience in news, film and television production, as well as animation...Jack really IS a Jack of All Trades in the video/online and film production arena.  In addition to his creativity, Jack is always able to match the production to a client's budget, without sacrificing quality of the final product.

A native of Bristol, Tennessee, Jack now calls his home-state home again, but works on productions and shoots in the field and on the road throughout the year. Dunham and Crane have worked together since the early 1990s, and have more than two decades of credentials working together on Media and Messaging Training Sessions for numerous C-suite executives from among the Fortune 1000.

 
 
 

 
 
 

Special Projects

Alicia Stafford

Alicia Stafford works on Capitol Hill for a member of Georgia’s Congressional delegation.  Her work there has included Social Media Manager, Assistant Press Officer and Legislative Assistant.  Prior to her half decade in D.C., Alicia was an initial hire and team member of CSI Crane in 2008.

Alicia led client engagements for Alliance Health Care, eduKalb and Monocle Health Group.

Stafford is a Georgia Bulldog and graduate of the Henry W. Grady School of Journalism.  While Washington, D.C. is her current home, she expects to relocate back home to Georgia in the not too distant future.
